We catch up with her to discuss her exciting plans for 2022 and her love of the Greek islands and the Swiss Alps.
WHICH PLACE OR DESTINATION GIVES YOU THAT SUNSHINE FEELING?
The Greek islands. My favourites are Spetses and Leros, or if you mean in London I’d say The River Cafe.
MY NAME IS RIO IS A MANTRA. WHAT IS YOURS?
Everything is within reach.
WHERE DO YOU GO IN YOUR DAYDREAMS?
Switzerland a lot of the time. Also Cornwall. My fiancé and I tend to go every other year in January. It’s off season so very quiet and often wet but we love it. We rent a little cottage, hike during the day and cook during the evening.
WHICH WOMAN CAPTIVATED YOU GROWING UP?
Nigella Lawson and Nora Ephron.
WHAT ARE YOU MANIFESTING FOR 2022?
It’s a bit of a weird year for me as I’m getting married and planning to take a long honeymoon. Many of my projects and work have taken a bit of a backseat which makes me nervous and brings up all the silly feelings of guilt but I’m trying to trust the process, enjoy the moment and really be present for this year.
WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOU DANCED BAREFOOT IN THE SAND?
August! My whole family went to the island of Bequia. It was absolutely incredible. White sand, crystal blue waters, delicious food and radiant sun.
WHERE DO YOU GO TO RECONNECT?
If I could transport myself anywhere it would be the Swiss Alps during summer time, hiking early in the morning before anyone is up. I find hiking and walking incredibly meditative.
WHAT ARE YOUR FAVOURITE PIECES FROM THE COLLECTION?
I love the Carmen cotton sun dress, also the Conchita cropped tee and all of the mini sundresses.
