KELLY IN PARADISE
Effortless eclecticism coupled with colloquial wit, columnist and blogger Kelly Eastwood is the embodiment of Brit girl cool. This week, The London Chatter herself invites us into her dream world.
PARADISE IS...
On safari. There is no experience more thrilling, romantic or peaceful. I'd recommend Ol Malo, a family-run lodge in Kenya’s wild Northern Laikipia Province - the heartland of the Samburu tribe, and my sister's recent trip to Botswana has me aching to visit Jack's Camp, a 1940's style tented safari camp in the Kalahari Desert.
IN THREE WORDS...
One way ticket.
ON IMPORTANT RITUALS...
Since becoming a mum, self care has rather been side-lined, but a Sunday morning bubble bath is non-negotiable (although my son Rex usually makes a guest appearance, for the first half at least!)
IF PARADISE WAS A TASTE...
An ice cold, citrusy gin and tonic after a long dusty game drive, accompanied by some good laughs with old friends, green olives and Twiglets, please.
A SCENT...
Sun cream on sea salty skin.
A SONG...
Men at Work's 'Down Under' - just too many memories or 'Don't Worry Baby,' by The Beach Boys - it reminds me of those early, blurry days with my little boy.
ON DREAM DRESSING...
Wearing Hayley Menzies makes me feel confident and ready for anything - but preferably a party!
